1. Salins Factory (Salins-les-Bains Earthenware Factory)
• Located in Salins-les-Bains in the Jura, France.
• Founded in the 19th century, it is renowned for its fine earthenware and traditional decorations.
• She produced utilitarian and decorative pieces (tableware, vases, etc.).
• The factory experienced strong growth in the 20th century, before declining and closing in the 2000s.
2. Lunéville Factory (Lunéville-Saint-Clément Earthenware Factory)
• Located in Lunéville, in Meurthe-et-Moselle.
• Founded in the 18th century (around 1728), it is one of the oldest French earthenware factories.
• Famous for its floral decorations (notably the “Barbotine” motifs), and its Art Nouveau pieces.
• It merged with the Saint-Clément earthenware factory and continues to produce under the name “Faïencerie de Lunéville-Saint-Clément”.
