The Sarreguemines factory is one of the most famous French earthenware factories:

• Founded in 1790 in Sarreguemines (Moselle), it experienced significant growth in the 19th century.

• Recognized for its fine earthenware , its table services, its earthenware tiles, and its rich decorations, often floral or inspired by orientalism and Art Nouveau.

• She worked with renowned artists and was supplied by Napoleon himself at the imperial court under the I.

• Underwent several mergers (notably with Digoin and Vitry-le-François) in the 20th century.

• Production stopped in the 2000s, but the Sarreguemines earthenware museum preserves its heritage.
